In its ongoing series of live DJ events, Dawawine welcomes the first-time duo of Ziad Nawfal and Rami Sabbagh.

On the musical menu for the evening: A tuna sandwich swan song.

Ziad Nawfal is the founder of the ground-breaking Beirut-based independent label – Ruptured. He has spent the better part of the last 20 years exposing Lebanon and the world to the special local and regional independent music talent on his long-running radio show – Ruptures, on Radio Liban 96.2 FM. He started spinning music in local Beiruti bars at the tender age of 18, and has played in the capital’s most renowned venues, from Babylone and Zinc in the 1990’s, to Club Social and The Basement in the 2000’s. He is currently a resident DJ at Lux Restaurant and Radio Beirut.

Rami el Sabbagh is a Lebanese video maker, his videos include ‘C’est de ta faute, quelque part’ (It’s Somewhat Your Fault, 2003), ‘2mg of Rotten Blood on Pure White Snow’, and ‘The Last Hero’ (2012). He is also a VJ and a DJ since 2006.
