Candlelight Walk to Save Beirut’s Heritage

Dear friends of «Save Beirut Heritage » and «Stop Destroying your Heritage», we will be holding candles in remembrance of Beirut’s dying heritage. We hope that you can join us in this symbolic walk.
A press conference will be held in ‘Ahwet el Ezaz’, the century old cafe that is going to be definitely closed by the end of this year.
This is a terrible example of how our heritage is stripped away from us. We expect local and international media to graciously provide coverage for this event. This is your chance to show the world that you refuse to be part of the destruction of Beirut’s memory.
