Sin el Fil lays claim to two of the finest burger joints in the country. The first is Marky’s, established by Lebanese-Canadian Marc Kandakji in 2013, and specializing in burgers (7,500 - 11,000 LL) and Philly steak subs (7,500 - 12,500 LL). There’s plenty to adore about his delicious sandwiches, featuring soft fresh buns, moist “smashed” meat, homemade cheese curds and pickles, and the city’s first authentic poutine (7,500 LL). Kandakji is always in his kitchen crafting new sandwiches, and he’s got us salivating over his new BBLT cheesesteak, a heaving mess of beef, bacon, lettuce and tomatoes.
