‘Shirin Neshat’ Lecture at AUB

Organized by the Department of Fine Arts and Art History, as part of the AUB Visiting Scholar program, award-winning Iranian filmmaker/artist Shirin Neshat will present an overview of the evolution of her work, and will more specifically discuss the transitions of her art forms, from still photography’ such as the “Women of Allah” series (1993-1997,) to a series of video installations (1997-2009), numerous still images as well as projecting her earliest video “Turbulent” (1998,) and her latest “Illusions & Mirrors” (2013).
