Conceived, choreographed and performed by Pierre Geagea, ‘Mother Tongue’ is a solo performance blending contemporary dance and sign language. Born deaf and gradually developing the partial capacity to hear, Pierre found in dance an essential means of expression.
His first solo creation sketches his unique relation to rhythm, music, words, as well as signs – his ‘Mother Tongue’.
