The 21st European Film Festival will be held from November 26 to December 8 at Cinema Metropolis Empire Sofil in Achrafieh.
The European Film Festival is organized by the Delegation of the European Union to Lebanon in collaboration with the Embassies and Cultural Institutes of the European Union Member States, under the patronage of the Minister of Culture.
About the Movie
Middle-aged cinephile and film projectionist Pera still lives with his mother – and best friend – Mara, in Belgrade. When NATO bombs start raining down on Serbia in 1999, the two of them end up in New York after a surreal journey. In the new age of digital projection, Pera realizes that he can no longer do the old job he loved so much. He then decides to show people the magic of real cinema.
