Horsh Beirut Discussion at Crowne Plaza

In the framework of the “Together to re-open and re-activate Horsh Beirut” campaign, Nahnoo invites you to attend and participate in the public debate on the status of Horsh Beirut, the only existing park in our capital city.

Speakers and program:
– Intervention of Mr. Nadim Abou Rizk (engineer and Vice-President of Beirut Municipality)
As a representative of the Municipality, Mr. Abou Rizk will update us on the situation of Horsh Beirut and shed light on the possibility of a future re-opening
– Intervention of Mr. Naji Assi, (Architect and Professor at the American University of Beirut).
As an urban planning expert, Mr. Assi will share his view on the landscape of the Horsh
– Facilitation and intervention of Mr. Mohammad Ayoub Executive Director NAHNOO NGO).
As leading activist in the campaign, Mr Ayoub will coordinate the public forum and express the civil society’s demands
– Open discussion with the audience: questions and answers
