This is an introductory workshop in metal piercing for jewelry. It is the perfect class for any aspiring jewelry artisan, for jewelry designers who like to learn the craft of making their own metal pieces, for lovers of artisan work, and those who wish to widen their artistic horizons from all backgrounds and learn a new skill / start a new hobby.

In this workshop, you will learn:
– Learn about the many jeweler saws and saw blades
– Learn how to use a jeweler’s saw like a pro
– Make your own metal pieces using a variety of different metals and hand piercing techniques.
– File and sand your pieces to perfection so they can be ready to use for jewelry / other right out of class.

Tools and Materials:
– Bench pin + clamp
– Jeweler’s saw
– Saw blades
– A set of files
– Sanding paper
– Brass and copper pieces

Cost
$280 which covers the participant’s tools and materials too.
