How do you make a good documentary that tells a compelling story? How do you prepare to shoot a documentary?

In this class, taught by Lebanese Producer Lara Abu Saifan of Placeless Films, you will learn everything you need to know on how to make a meaningful documentary film.

Students will learn:
– Documentary Styles
– Research Skills
– Synopsis & Treatment writing
– Docu-scriptwriting
– Shooting preparation
– Funding resources and tips

Students will learn the step-by-step process of preparing a documentary. After each step, they will be working in groups of 2-4 people at putting the steps into practice.
