‘Leaving Soon’ Exhibition

Ayyam Projects is pleased to invite you to an exhibition showcasing emerging Lebanese artist Myriam Dalal’s installation titled, ‘Leaving Soon.’

A reference to the Beirut bombings of 2013, Dalal’s large scale installation features photographs of bed-confined, seemingly lifeless men with cotton buds in their ears and nose, hinting at memories of loss and the absence thereof. Adding an interactive dimension to her work is Dalal’s use of mirrors, placing the viewer in the position of someone soon departing.
