Registration for Ammiq Reserve Hike with Vamos Todos

Ammik is one the most important places for migrating birds in Lebanon. It is also home to the country’s largest swamp. It has a bird watching tower to observe bird migrations and is also known for its various types of trees.

The hike will be along the edge of mountains where many trees provide shade and shelter. It is one of the rare places in the Bekaa rich in a diversity of tree species.

Meeting Location: In the parking of Sagesse School in Jdeideh, facing the public garden.
Meeting Time: 7:30 a.m.
Back to meeting Location: Around 5:00 p.m.

Cost
80,000 LL including transport, guides, lunch, reserve visit and insurance.

What to bring
Pack your backpacks with water, snacks, a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. Don’t forget a jacket because it gets cold in the shade. Wear hiking shoes or comfortable walking shoes.
