Anatomy of Yoga

Go Deeper in the physical practice of yoga. Study the major joints and muscles in the human body and explore how to integrate this knowledge into Yoga asana. Participants will gain confidence in knowing which movements will allow for optimal functioning of the body and help prevention or worsening of an injury. We will study the foot, knee, inner thigh, thigh, pelvis (hips), abdominals, chest and shoulders. Students will be given an informational packet showing contraindicated asana posture and correct posture. Class will be both theory and practice.
