Imperfect Dance – Raqsa Naqisah – Artist Talk by Sarah Riggs

Wednesday, Apr 1, 2015
6:00pm -> 8:00pm
98 Weeks Project Space

Sarah Riggs will talk about her work and latest project “Imperfect Dance,” a dance project inspired by the dreams of the residents of Casablanca. Sarah Riggs and Aya Nabih, poets from New York and Cairo, interview people around the Source du Lion about the residents’ dreams, and set these dreams to dance, both by movement interpretations by Riggs and Nabih, and with dancers from the Espace Darja. Short films are expected to emerge from this work, in post-production by TAMAAS.
