The International Writers’ House in Beirut is a not-for-profit organization governed by a board of directors and guided by an international Literary Committee.
Born in 1961, Mohammad Fouad participated in the founding of a literary club for young writers at the University of Aleppo in the 80s, and played an important role in the Syrian modern poetry movement. A surgeon, he left Aleppo where he was living and now teaches at the American University of Beirut.
He has published several poetry collections including: Taghout el kalam (1990), Al Matrouk janiban (1998) Qala baydaba (2005).
