BANJ – Live at Radio Beirut

Radio Beirut is pleased to present BANJ in concert for the first time.

BANJ is a merge of three previous band projects. The first of which is “Force” from 1983, with two veteran musicians, namely bass player Abboud Saadi and drummer Emile Boustany. The second, the “Kool Trio”, that included composer and piano player Hani Siblini who also was part of “Force”. And finally a project called “2 for the Road” with vocalist Ramzi Karkabi of the band “Linger” and Emile Boustany.

This led to the fusion of three different music styles, Jazz, Rock and contemporary.

Last and definitely not least, BANJ brought in saxophonist, piano player, music teacher and performer Nidal Abou Samra. The BANJ setlist includes originals as well as cover songs.
