In 1979 Jeremy Hackett started a business collecting and selling second hand men’s clothing in Portobello Market. As demand exceeded supply, Hackett opened its first boutique on King’s Road in 1983. Hackett’s sponsorship portfolio has expanded over the years, sponsoring many of the prestigious teams and British sports that includes the Aston Martin Racing, The British Army polo team and the famous Oxford Vs. Cambridge boat race.
