‘Enough is Enough’ Demonstration

On Saturday, May 30, people will take to the streets in a mass demonstration, together with the families and friends of female victims of family violence.

From the National Museum, they will march to the Ministry of Justice to call for:
– Expedient trials of alleged female killers
– Stricter punishment for murderers
– Resolution for the Roula Yacoub’s case
-Priority to cases of victims of family violence through a special family court

Is it fair for the families and friends of victims to carry the burden of slow trials and procedures, and remain fearful of the beast of alleviating circumstances? No.

If you wish to call for the harshest sentences against the killers of women, if you wish to shout out loud to expedite the trials of those who murder women,if you are faithful to Roula Yacoub and will not allow her killer immunity, then join this march outside the National Museum to demand justice.
