Walkabout Summer 2015 Drum Party

WDP are very happy to invite you to their next drum party at Nova Club. It’s a hot night of West African music, dance, drinks, songs and laughs.

Their special guest Bahaa will play his blasting sound on bagpipe from Scottish ballads to local Dbakeh awesomeness powered by the drums. DJ Upstairs and Serge will make sure to keep the groove going while the band rests.

The celebration around the Djembeh will open with 2 stwongs: Denadon and Rumba performed respectively by the advanced and intermediate students of Walkabout community school.
Performing for the first time is an important step on their path to become Djembeh folas/players:
initiation and recognition.
