ShatilAlive Fundraising Campaign

You are warmly invited to join Basmeh and Zeitooneh and attend the launch of the fundraising campaign ShatilAlive

This campaign is being launched to provide necessary financial support for Basmeh and Zeitooneh’s community center in Shatila refugee camp. This center – the only one of its kind within Shatila – provides vital services for the local Syrian, Palestinian and Lebanese communities. These services include educational, relief, job-creating and cultural programs, accessible to all demographics within Shatila.

As well as the official launch of the campaign, the event will include oriental music, home-cooked Syrian food, and a market bazaar for products made by refugee women through the Small Grants and Women’s Workshop programs.

Amidst both global and local shortfalls in funding, our center is in need of support now more than ever. So come and support this community center, to keep Shatila connected.
