FADE IN: Creative Writing Lab

This creative writing lab is designed to for serious students who want to progress in their novels or short-stories or movie scripts. With scheduled reading times and creative-centered feedback, this class not only provides support to help writers finish their projects, it will open writers to their own creative process and push them forward every step of the way.

Students will be on a schedule to bring in pages for constructive and creative feedback. Surround yourself with other writers and get the push you need to finish your work.

Led by writer, Jad Khoury, this class accepts writers in English and Arabic.
It’s a three-month minimum commitment (no exceptions)

Do I have to have any writing prepared?
You do not have to have anything prepared. However, sample pages need to be sent to info@fadeinbeirut.com for consideration. We are looking for students who are dedicated and committed to finishing their work.

What do we do in class?
Writers bring in pages on a schedule and we read and workshop them using a method of creative feedback. As the writers progress, we get more into depth with structure and finishing projects.

How long will it take?
Each student is different – however, a three-month minimum commitment is required in order for students to see any progress or growth in their work and in their knowledge.

How many people are in the class?
FADE IN: do not accept more than six people in each class to ensure time and proper feedback for each writer.
