Wasl by Laban – Live Lactic Culture will be performing, as part of there monthly playback performance project. The performance will be inspired by stories of the audience members on any topic they wish.

After receiving training from Armand Volkas and an intensive training from Ben Rivers, members of Laban – Live Lactic Culture are ready to meet their audience every second Wednesday of the month.

Playback Theater is known to have a therapeutic effect on its audience or group members. The audience members first tell their stories out loud to be witnessed by the rest of the group and then they witness their own stories enacted by the professional actors and accompanied by music and for the audience to watch a different perspective of the story.

Team: Farah Wardani, Raffi Feghali, Ali Hassan Dawi, Nour Wardani, Mohamad Ipo, Abodi Jatal, Farah Merhi, Angela Haddad.

“Playback Theater is an original form of improvisational theater in which audience or group members tell stories from their lives and watch them enacted on the spot. Interactive and spontaneous, Playback Theater bases its material on the stories of the community. In theaters, workshops, and a wide range of educational and organizational settings, Playback Theater draws people together and allows fresh perspectives.”
