A Man is Dead Because of the Trash Crisis
Lebanese people have been living under preposterous conditions for a while now. Trash has been piling up for months, suffocating citizens and no solution seems to be in sight.
Earlier today, Chawki Najjar, age 50, was hit by a car and instantly killed when he was forced to cross the Dora highway because the pedestrian bridge was blocked by mountains of trash. Chawki was forced to cross the highway and it cost him his life.
There is nothing else to say except this: for the sake of our republic, we need change now.
