Thursdays [From Oct 1, 2015 until Oct 22, 2015]
6:30pm -> 9:00pm
FADE IN:

In this four-week course, students are introduced to the art of screenwriting and effective storytelling for movies. By the end of the 6-weeks, they will be well-versed in how to generate ideas, fight the myth of writer’s block, format a script, create believable characters and write realistically witty dialogue. In an effort to raise the standard of Lebanese and Arab drama writing, this course will analyze work throughout the region and beyond.

With screenwriter, Jad el Khoury, the class will be taught in Arabic and English. Writing must be in Arabic, classical, Lebanese, or any other Arab region using latin or arabic letters.

Arabic Scenario 1 is the first step in FADE IN:’s creative track program. After completing this course, students are eligible to move on to Arabic Scenario 2 where they will continue their journey towards finishing their movie scripts.
