Mohannad Nasser Trio – Arabic Jazz

The Mohannad Nasser Trio kicks off the 2015 season of Back Door’s ‘World Music Wednesdays!’

Nasser and his trio bring you original ‘Arabic Jazz,’ as well as exciting new covers of some of our favorite Arabic and Jazz standards. Nasser hails from Sweida, Syria, and is a graduate of the Higher Institute in Damascus. Nasser combines virtuosity with smooth sensibility, reflected in his compositions which are both sweepingly fast-paced and sweetly melodic.
