Having your dream come true, helping someone’s dream come true, and raising money for cancer research? Now that’s what I call a win-win-win, and that’s exactly what Amalouna’s fundraising event is all about!
Amalouna is an educational organization that supports cancer research and raises awareness about cancer diagnosis, therapy, and prevention; it has founded several projects that involve students in cancer research and help spread awareness about preventative measures. Their most recent event is a fundraiser in collaboration with The Dream Matcher.
Here’s how the Dream Matcher Experience events work: You show up to the mingle, have fun, and most importantly – write down your dream on a sticky note and hang it up on the board. You then read everyone else’s dream and see if you can assist in making any of them come true. You’d be surprised how many people’s dreams are achievable with a little collective help!
On October 12th, the Dream Matcher Experience will be taking place at 7 PM at AltCity, all the proceeds will be donated to the Cancer Research Fund. Tickets are only $10 and will be sold at the door.
