“Colorfully Caring and Connecting” are series of workshops that offer parents time and space to release stress and frustrations, exchange ideas and experiences, share concerns and challenges, and learn healthy new strategies to better deal with their children.

Series I: “Connecting with Your Child: The Real Work of Parenting”
These sessions allow you to discover the importance of connecting to your child to increase cooperation and deal with everyday parenting challenges.

In a safe and creative environment, you will have the opportunity to care for yourself and acquire parenting skills for your child.

Through creative directives, expressive activities, relaxation, presentations and discussions, these sessions will allow you to:
– Let out your frustration in a healthy and creative manner.
– Realize the importance of expressing and managing your emotions so that your child does that too.
– Learn how to connect with your child and develop a stronger relationship with her/him.
– Better understand your child so that you can deal more effectively with challenging situations.
– Learn how to guide your child’s behavior and set limits effectively.

Cost
$80 per two sessions
$120 per three sessions , including art materials and handouts.
