A Lonely Old Man Making Friends Will Make You Cry Then Smile
According to media site Buzzfeed News, a 95-year old man named Bill called a morning radio show to say that he was lonely and missed his wife who had recently moved into a retirement home.
Moved by his story and his solitude, the radio team then surprised him by ordering him a taxi and inviting him down to the radio station where he co-hosted the show for the morning. Bill received kind calls from listeners of the show and was described as a “sweet, sweet man” by the show’s producer.
