I woke up today to the sound of pouring rain and aggressive winds and thought, “Winter is finally here.” I was soon met with these horrific images:
We all knew this day was coming; the garbage crisis has been going on for more than 2 months now and it’s only gotten worse and worse. We all should be embarrassed by this, this is what we voted for over and over. But we all have to give credit here to the civil movement Tol3et Re7etkom who started a campaign of sorting and packing garbage a few weeks ago, in an attempt to prevent what we’re witnessing. Even today, despite the weather conditions, they continue to do so:
