24 Things To Look Forward To In 2016

2015 is finally over and we’re here to get you excited about the new year! Here are 24 things we look forward experiencing in 2016:

In Movies

1. Finding Dory: June 2016. The 13-year wait is finally over! The sequel to Finding Nemo is finally being released this upcoming summer and we can’t wait!

2. Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice: March 2016. Do we really have to say anything about this? The title is epic enough to do the talking for us.

3. The Secret Life of Pets: July 2016. This one is expected to be a huge success; comedy and talking pets – what more can you ask for?

4. Suicide Squad: August 2016. This film has already stirred controversy, which is why we’re all curious to watch it.

5. Bel Nesbe La Boukra Shou: January 2016. Our personal favorite for this upcoming year. Only a couple of weeks left until footage from this cherished Ziad El Rahbani play gets released in movie theaters around the country.

6. Game Of Thrones (Season 6): Though not technically a movie, we can’t wait to devour the upcoming season!

In Technology

1. Transformer House: Every Transformers fan’s dream; a house boat that can dwell on water or on land roped to a car. Traveling around the world just got a whole lot easier.

2. First hotel in space: Russia collaborates with the United States to make this hotel happen, it houses seven people, celebrity chefs, and over-looks a killer view.

3. Hover-boards: No, not the balancing scooter that spoiled kids seem to use all the time, but an actual hover-boad called ArcaBoard. They started taking orders with delivery expected to be in April.

In Music

1. This is Acting – Sia: January 29, 2016

2. Wonderful Crazy Night – Elton John: February 5, 2016

3. This House is Not for Sale – Bon Jovi: March 2016

4. Anti – Rihanna: TBA

2. The Legend of Zelda (Wii U): TBA. This installment will bring the awesomeness of the land of Hyrule to the Wii U.

3. Uncharted 4: April 26, 2016. The last installment by Naughty Dog. A revolutionary third person shooter that follows a modern day Indiana Jones/thief hybrid who goes on adventures, solving ancient myths and always getting the girl.

In Literature

1. Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare: March 2016. The author of The Mortal Instruments returns with the first book of her new series The Dark Artifices.

2. The Crown by Kierra Cass: May 2016. The fifth and final novel will pick up where The Heir left off.

In Local News

1. A president, hopefully?

2. Less Laila Abdul Lateef TV time, maybe?

3. No more Lebanese reality TV shows…please?

4. More electricity and water, perhaps?

5. No garbage crisis? This is getting ridiculous.
