Italian Project Kitchen and Bar

Located in the heart of Mar Mikhael, Italian Project is Beirut’s ode to hearty Italian food. Stop by on a weekend for a bustling dinner experience, or on a weekday after work for an intimate and delicious meal. Their menu, though more concise than other restaurants, is reciprocally radiant in flavor. Italian Project is one of the only places in Beirut where you’ll find a burrata starter, with fresh and oozing burrata cheese alongside three kinds of cherry tomatoes and basil pesto dressing. One of their most renowned dishes is the pumpkin and truffle risotto, complete with a drizzle of pistachios and enough taste to make your mouth melt. Their pizzas are equally delectable. Try the Brown dough carpaccio for a twist on a classic Italian legacy.

Italian project is a lovely place to meet with friends over a bottle of wine and some sharing plates for the table. Try their bruschetta for a quick bite, or grilled calamari with a mini salad and truffle mayo dip to really ignite your taste buds. It’s also the perfect place to embark on a romantic date, with dim indoor lighting and a cozy outdoor terrace.
