Jabal Kneisse Snowshoeing with Lebanese Adventure

Heading to Jabal El Knisseh for a beautiful snowshoe trip with wonderful landscapes of Kfarselwan, Sannine artificial lakes, the Rechd and its pine forest.

Beginning from Ain el Sohat (bottling plant), we will follow the trail that leads to the summit without however reaching it, then changing directions down towards the Rechd walking between the lakes which are already full in the beginning of the season.

Meeting Location: At the parking next to the Emergency Entrance of the Sacré Cœur hospital Hazmieh.
Meeting Time: 7:30 a.m.

What to bring
Waterproof walking shoes, sunglasses, sun screen, hat + cap, meal (sandwiches, chocolate, dried fruits), lot of water, back pack, wind breaker (K-way) or anorak, gloves, polar fleece jacket,, walking pole, spare socks.
