Middle East University is honored to invite you to a Spiritual Concert of Traditional Music of the Mashriq for the Holy Week. This is a concert program of Art Music of the Mashriq which includes instrumental improvisations of traditional melodies from the Holy Week.

Professor Nidaa Abou Mrad is the Vice President for Research at the Universite Antoiné, the Dean of the Faculty of Music and Musicology, the Director of Universite Antoine Publishers, the Editor in chief of the Revue des Traditions Musicales, a violin player and a composer in the traditional Arab music style.

Doctor Hayaf Yassine is the Academic Director of the North Section of the Faculty of Music and Musicology – Universite Antoniné, the Director of the House of Music (Secours Populaire Libanais) and initiator of the Levantine sanțũr and of the pedagogic sanțũr.

This concert hosted on MEU Campus presents a collaboration between Antonine University and MEU. Both universities value a musical spiritual experience that brings us closer to the love of God our creator. It is a great honor for the Sabtieh community to host such a great and inspiring performance.
