The 5 Best Burgers In Beirut

On a search for the best burger? Well, we just made it easy for you. Here is a list of the best burgers in Beirut, or rather Hamra and, what is looking up to be Burger Central, our very own Mar Mikhael.

1. Ferdinand Burger at Ferdinand’s, Hamra

They claim their specialty burgers are the best in town, and their Ferdinand Burger is no exception. The juicy 200 gram Australian Angus, grain-fed beef patty comes topped with a toasted Brioche bun and oozing cheddar cheese, but it’s their secret blueberry jam sauce that is the icing on the cake.

2. Avocado, Bacon & Swiss Cheese Burger at Frosty Palace, Mar Mikhael

Frosty Palace does not serve up what you would call a regular burger, and while their specials are what you should look out for, the burgers on the menu are just as exceptional. Go for the Avocado, Bacon and Swiss cheese burger and enjoy the charcoal-grilled patty and mélange of flavors only enhanced by the delicious homemade mayonnaise.

3. The Dry-Aged Cheeseburger at The Happy Prince, Mar Mikhael

Don’t be put off by the name, because The Dry-Aged Burger will make you one happy prince(ss) indeed. Dig in and enjoy the smokey flavor of the dry-aged US Black Angus, complemented only with caramelized onions, melted Cheddar cheese, and exquisite house made French fries.

4. MJ’s Burger at MJ’s, Mar Mikhael

The menu may read Burgers & More, but burgers are what they do, and they do them pretty damn well. Go for the MJ’s burger, a 100% grain-feed Black Angus beef patty, topped with BBQ onion relish, BBQ sauce, grilled red bell pepper, eggplant (!) and their in-house cream cheese blend, YUM! Don’t forget to try their rosemary fries and beer mustard dip too, they’re something else.

5. Merguez Burger at Butcher’s BBQ Joint, Mar Mikhael

I could rave on and on about this burger and still not do it any justice. A juicy grilled merguez sausage covered with caramelized onions, coleslaw and their delicious house made Butcher’s sauce sandwiched between two toasted buns is a match made in heaven and a party in your mouth.
