About Raffi
Born in Beirut, Raffi is considered to be a leading jazz guitarist in Lebanon. He holds a Master’s degree in musicology. He has performed and recorded with many local and international musicians like: Arthur Satyan, Ziad Rahbani, Fayrouz, Victor Bailey, Anthony Wonsey, Walid Tawil, Abboud Saade, Fouad Afra

In 2013 he formed his own jazz quartet (RMJQ), which reflects his influences and own style of music. Raffi is currently teaching classical and jazz guitar at the faculty of music in University of Holy Spirit.

About Donna
Donna Khalifé is a singer, double bass player, composer, arranger and conductor born in Lebanon.
She starts her first piano lessons at the age of 7. In 2003, she moves to Paris to continue her music studies: piano, orchestration, harmony … Her conducting classes with Nicolas Brochot and her jazz and improvisation classes with Guillaume Roy contribute a lot in shaping her musical sensibilities. Under Roy’s guidance, she perfects her jazz singing, composing, arranging and improvisation, as well as her piano and double bass playing (with Thierry de Micheaux and Philippe Lacarriere respectively).

As part of her education, she receives a 1st prize in orchestration at the Conservatoire Regional de Paris, a diploma in harmony and counterpoint, and she graduates in Jazz from the Conservatoire d’Evry.
