Makan’s First Birthday – Sri Lankan dinner

To celebrate, some of their favourite chefs will be presenting special birthday menus. From Monday to Wednesday, Nimal takes a tour through theirr Sri Lankan favourites. Then from Thursday to Saturday, Persian chef Mehrnaz presents some of her most popular dishes. They’ll even have a special Saturday brunch, cakes, and other surprises during the week.

Sri Lankan Eggs rolls served with sweet chili sauce
– Kiribath with lunu miris
Sticky coconut rice served with caramelized onion confit
– Acharau
Spicy vegetable pickles
– Fried rice
– Lamb biryani
Tender lamb chops in minted basmati rice, cooked with cardamon, nutmeg, cloves and coriander. Topped with cashew nuts

Tender chicken on the bone, cooked in curry leaves and spices

Potato curry with coconut milk

Fried beans curry with coconut milk
