This workshop is a rare opportunity to learn the basic and some cutting-edge Photoshop methods and techniques from a top digital painter, illustrator and concept artist, Ahmad Jomaa.
You will gain a solid foundation in the fundamentals, become well-versed in useful tools and learn invaluable tips and tricks of the trade.

Digital painting is a method of creating an art object (painting) via a computer software. As a method of creating an art object, it adapts traditional painting medium such as acrylic paint, oils, ink watercolor…
As a technique, it refers to a computer graphics software program that uses a virtual canvas and virtual painting box of brushes, colors and other supplies. Digital painting differs from other forms of digital art, particularly computer-generated art, in that it does not involve the computer rendering from a model.

This workshop will cover the following:
– Preparing line work
– Mask flexibility
– Brushes
– Layers
– Priming
– Shadows and highlights
– Detailing

By the end of this two-sessions workshop, you will be able to paint directly on the computer with ease and digitally enhance and color your scanned drawings. You will finally be able to take advantage of the power of Photoshop and digital painting.

– Basic knowledge of Photoshop is a plus
