Screening of Missing Person by Mohammad Khan

One week after his death, t-marbouta is remembering the director Mohammad Khan (26 October 2942 – 26 July 2016) and is screening his film from 1984: Kharaja Wa Lam Ya’ud (Missing Person)

The movie tells the story of a young man, depressed from the city and looking for a new life in the countryside. He is an archive employee at a ministry, dreaming to become its general manager and living in a very old house in Cairo’s poorest suburb. For personal reasons, he decides to return to the countryside to sell a land he owns… and there his life will change.
