Chef Mehrnaz presents a Persian menu with jewelled saffron rice and a tour of Iran’s most delicious dishes.

Starting with a selection of Persian salads and starters, your meal will build to the famous chicken fasenjoon (saffron, walnut and pomegranate stew), and khoresht gheyme (lamb and split pea stew). Accompanied by nan lavash bread and jewelled rice, and ending with the incredible shole zard dessert – this will be a meal to remember.

Menu:
– Abdough khiar
Cold yogurt and mint soup with cucumbers, herbs, walnuts and raisins
– Ashe shole ghalamkar
Seven-bean dip coated with Iranian whey and fried minted onions
– Iranian Kotlet
Ground beef and potato patties mixed and fried with eggs and Persian spices
– Salad Shirazi
– Nan lavash bread
– Chicken Fasenjoon (vegetarian available)
Tender chicken in a blended walnut and pomegranate stew, cooked with saffron and other spices
– Shirin polow (vegetarian)
Jeweled saffron rice with carrots, almonds and orange zest
– Khoresht gheyme (vegetarian available)
Persian yellow split pea stew simmered with lamb
– Shole Zard
Rice simmered with saffron, pistachio, almond and coated with cinnamon
