The AltCity FinTech meetup on August 10th is around “The Fintech Revolution: Banking on the Future”, and is co-organized and moderated by Elise Moussa, a FinTech entrepreneur of Snapay, a former banker for top 10 US banks, and a huge believer in women in tech and tech for good.

The diverse panel will include representatives from the banking, venture capital, entrepreneurial and cyber security industries. We will assess where the MENA FinTech industry currently is according to different perspectives, where it is going, and what are the barriers and drivers of FinTech innovation in MENA.

From the featured panellists, meet:
– Mr. Anthony Uusher, a globally mobile banker who has worked in a variety of senior positions in the financial services industry in Europe, North America, the Far East, and the Middle East. He has worked in Lebanon for over 14 years in local and international banks. He is currently Deputy General Manager and Head of Electronic Banking at Credit Libanais sal, Beirut. Before Credit Libanais, he was Chief Executive Officer of Standard
Chartered Bank, Lebanon.

– Mrs. Randa Safah, a seasoned banker, is the Manager at the Office of the Group Chief Executive Officer at Bank Audi. Prior to that, she handled the positions of Group Coordinator at the Office of the Chief Executive Officer and Senior Corporate Finance Analyst at the Corporate Finance Department.
Randa is also active in Lebanon’s booming entrepreneurship scene, serving as a Member of the Board of Directors of Berytech. She received a Masters in Finance from the American University of Beirut in 1997 and a Bachelor of Business and Economics from the American University in Paris in 1994.
