About Joe
Joe fell in love with the guitar at the age of 14. He had a natural understanding for music and started imitating other guitar players. Later on he started taking guitar lessons and it didn’t take him long to start playing with local bands.
Joe’s passion for guitar playing led him to join the Faculty of Music at the Holy Spirit University USEK from where he graduated with a BA in Music & Musical Education; and where he studied the Classical Guitar with Mr Jad Hedari, and the Oud with Mr Charbel Rouhana.
Jazz was introduced to Joe by his colleges at the university, and later on he spent 2 years studying this language at the Lebanese National Higher Conservatory of Music with Mr Tom Hornig, and attended Master classes with Mr Arthur Satyan and other educators from around the world.
Joe is currently a member of the conservatory Big Band, an educator and a freelance musician who’s known for his versatility and reliability.
