Hiking and Swimming Trip to Jannet Chouwen with Nahnoo

Nahnoo want to invite you to their first hiking trip this summer.

Jannet Chouwen, one of the most beautiful places for hiking in Lebanon. It’s also a historical place. So you’ll be mixing culture with adventure.

Jabal Moussa reserve is the place that witnessed the legend of Adonis and his lover Astarte. This story is behind the redness of the river which according to the legend, was caused by the blood of the Phoenician Adonis. The rest of the story will be told during the hike.
Jannet Chouwen trail lies on Nahr Ibrahim with an amazing view of the trees, the nature and the river.

Hiking level: Easy to Moderate
Activities: hiking, swimming and picnic on the lake.
Meeting point: Near the Lebanese University – Faculty of Fine Arts, Furn El Chebbak
Meeting time:8:00 a.m.

You need to get
ID card, backpack, hiking shoes, Sunglasses, a hat, swimming suits and a towel, water and lunch snack.

$20 including transportation, guide and entrance fees to the reserve
