La Folle journée Street Art starts on the Station Beirut rooftop with the screening of “Writers 1983 – 2003 : 20 ans de graffiti à Paris”.

The documentary is a vivid portrait of the graffiti pioneers in Paris. Inspired by the New York street art phenomenon, young graffiti artists create their own style and inspire a whole generation. They call themselves the “Writers”.

From the first paintings on the Seine banks and industrial wastelands to the colossal murals, Bando, Mode2, Boxer, Squat, Shen and others share their motivations and evolution.
With the voice-over of Vincent Cassel.

Screening followed by a talk with french and lebanese street artists about the core of the “street art identity”.
