‘Son of Saul’ Screening at Alkindy

Have a taste of European cinema this week and watch a Hungarian film.

This film went viral in the cinephile community last year. It won many awards including the GrandPrix in Cannes, and best foreign film at the Oscars.

The film sets in world War II at a concentration camp, a Jewish worker (Saul) tasked with burning the dead discovers the body of his young son, and must choose between participating in the clandestine uprising being planned among the prisoners, or securing a proper Jewish burial for his child.
