The Arab world’s lingering fascination with the night sky has weaved into the core of our culture and music. From the golden-age classics to today’s supersonic pop songs, local singers and songwriters have always looked upwards for inspiration.
“Falaki” is the story of a young man longing to escape the Planet that binds him to his lost lover. On his way to the stars, he encounters the most peculiar astral beings. ‘The Neighbor of the Moon’ and ‘The Planet of The East’, amongst others, will turn out to be crucial allies in his unusual cosmic journey.
