About Janprouk
They are two artists that met randomly in Yerevan, Armenia, & decided to continue their life journey together.
Janprouk means traveler’s suitcase in Armenian. They carry ideas and concepts and bring them with them to wherever they settle.

ARMaNu is a hand weaving and sewing workshop by Janprouk. In this workshop they will be teaching the original weaving techniques with loom from scratch, they will be using wooden frames, nails and wool to create the basic “machine”. This technique is mainly used in Armenia and other Far East countries. In Arme to weave rugs, carpets, painting and many other usable artisans.

You will learn:
– Introduction to the Armenian Culture of Weaving Carpets.
– Weaving the Carpet
– Finishing the Carpet and Sewing the bag
