Sirena at Motto is celebrating the ancient grains of the Punjab region.

This week at Sirena at Motto, expand your appreciation for Punjabi cuisine with a new selection of authentic dishes from the Punjab region of South Asia. Fed by the mighty Indus River, the region’s culinary traditions developed as a result of centuries-old agricultural methods producing staple foods like lentils, Basmati rice, and potato. All of these are featured in this week’s menu– potato is featured in the aloo corn tikki fritters, Basmati rice in the cumin-scented Jeera rice, and lentils in Sirena’s signature tarka dal.

Guests can order special platters of chicken and lamb kebab, cooked live in Lebanon’s only charcoal tandoor– for a fixed price.

Chili-marinated homemade cheese grilled on skewers in the tandoor

Plain, garlic, and butter naan cooked live in the charcoal tandoor

Basmati rice cooked with cumin and other spices
– Tarka dal
Yellow lentils flavored with turmeric, cumin, and other spices
– Chicken saagwalla
Chicken curry with spinach
