The panel discussion will be looking at legislation and public policy-making in Lebanon, given the constant dynamically shifting political situation. The discussion will shed light on the best and worst legislative mechanisms in recent years and will also talk about the conditions that should be available for proper policy-making and legislation. The discussion will give examples where public policy-makers and academics succeeded in bringing in new public policies and propose ways to build bridges between the two fields for better future collaboration.
