Christmas really is the most wonderful time of the year. And this year, there is no shortage of incredible Christmas themed events and festivities around town, but we found a special one we thought we’d share with you!

Introducing Christmas Loves Apples, the only eco-conscious and responsible Christmas Food Market taking place at Fahed Your Center-Rabieh from December 9 – January 8 between 12 PM and 8 PM.

This market is totally different than any we’ve seen. It brings together local farmers and producers to bring you the most wholesome foods and products. This helps promote local products and create a more sustainable Lebanon; it’s the perfect gift you can give to yourself and to Lebanon this Christmas! It’s the perfect opportunity to give back to the farmers and cooperatives that work so hard to make their seasons count.

Here are a few things you can expect to find at the Christmas Loves Apples market:

1. Hot mulled wine.

Sip, walk around, warm up, listen to music, and shop!

2. Live cooking stations.

Nothing says Christmas celebrations quite like food. The foods offered at this market are totally different than your run of the mill snacks. They have live cooking stations serving up decadent Saj and Fatayer (Zaatar, Kishk, Homayda…), 100% fresh artisanal dairy sandwiches (Labne bil Awarma, Baladi cheese, Ariche and honey…) , freshly-baked pastries, a kebbe bar (yum), and more!

3. Activities for the kids.

The cool people behind this market have not forgotten their youngest attendees! They’ve set up recycled and up-cycled Christmas decorations activities and green workshops at The Park where kids can make crafts, pastries, and so much more. This is sure to keep your young ones busy while you get all your shopping and browsing out of the way.

4. A desserts station.

Did you think we were done with the food? Nope. Christmas cookies, hot Sahlab, and so much more.

5. The gifts.

In addition to all the music, fun, and delicious foods – you’ll also get the chance to get some Christmas shopping out of the way! Whether you select some authentic, natural and ethically produced Mouneh products from Terroirs du Liban, a Fair Trade Brand, or pick out tailored gift baskets to give away to friends and loved ones, you’re sure to find unique and delightful gifts at the Christmas Food Market.
