Thursday, Dec 2, 2010
6:00pm -> 7:30pm
Morgan International

DipIFR is a flexible course that can be completed in three to six months and is intended for professional accountants already qualified or experienced in country-specific financial reporting standards or finance professionals faced with the challenge of developing a working knowledge of IFRS as quickly as possible. The DipIFR program approaches international financial reporting from the standpoint of someone learning how to apply IFRS for the first time, and combines a structured course of study in IFRS with a proctored test of your IFRS knowledge and skills.
The DipIFR is ideal for professional accountants and auditors and all who have national accounting standards qualifications are eligible. Candidates without qualifications may be accepted if they can prove they have minimum three-years’ of relevant accounting and/or auditing experience. But needless to say, the DipIFR is indispensable to professionals in the field and companies with modern vision.

ACCA alongside its official publisher, ATC International, creates all the study materials for the diploma. Tailored to precisely prepare students for ACCA’s DipIFR exam session, the content highlights IFRS practices in the actual business world.

The main topics covered are:
1. International sources of authority
2. Elements of financial statements
3. Presentation and additional disclosures
4. Preparation of external financial reports for single entities
5. Preparation of external financial reports for combined entities and joint ventures
