The official blog for the LAU the New Media course.

This course focuses on how contemporary media is shaping our current day-to-day lives and the major contribution of the Internet to how media is currently being designed, created, and shared. Areas of focus are Communication Arts (journalism, TV and film, theater, radio), public relations, graphic design. The course examines cultural and historical parallels with traditional forms of media. They use new media as both a topic of analysis and as a mode of expression and will explore the complex social, economic, historical, and technological developments that influence the impact of information on society.
